Part:BBa_K3861016
AIDA autotransporter
Sequence of the AIDA-I autotransporter derived from pRAIDA2.1 Must be used together with the signal sequence (BBa_K3861013) to allow display of a protein of interest (POI) on the bacterial surface. The gene encoding for the POI is to be inserted downstream of the signal sequence and upstream of the autotransporter. We combined the parts to create a construct with the potential ability to display the recombinant lectin rBC2LCN (BBa_K3861001) on the surface of bacterial minicells in order to enable active targeting of MCF7 breast cancer cells by attaching to glycans on the cancer cell surface (BBa_K3861018).
